Henary's Law
Hello everyone,
Today i am going to explain about HENARY'S LAW.
HENRY'S LAW :
According to henary law solubility pf a gas in liquid which is measured in terms of mole fraction at a particular temperature is directly proportional to pressure exerted by the gas.
Characteristics of Henary's law constant :
-> Unit of henary's law constant = atm , pascal
-> Henary's law constant depends on nature of solvent at fixed pressure.
LIMITATION OF HENARY'S LAW :-
1.) Gas must not react with solvent.
2.) The concentration of solutions should not be high.
3.) There should be no dissociation or association of gas molecules.
